I've noticed that there is a ring of soot around my tailpipe and it is dripping water consistently, when I rev the engine hard, sometimes it pops (ever since cone air filter installed) then it blows the water out into a foot long splat on the ground! Why is this happening?

water is a natural byproduct of any combustion. this is completely normal. i dont realy want to go into the chemical properties of combustion but im sure if needed someone here will

If I am not mistaken:
gas + oxygen --(combustion)--> (power) + exhaust gas + H2O

I had/have a lot of water in the exhaust
and I think I might be running rich. (bad mileage, strong exhaust smell)
I am replacing the upstream O2 sensor soon, will see if that helps any.
here's the original thread from last year.

some good replies,
the first picture looks like what you describe- a steady drip and a good spray if it's revved.
I replaced plugs, wires, cap, rotor,
plugs were clean, no carbon, no signs of water in the chambers.
