More Ignition problems

I replaced my battery cables a few weeks ago, and I hadnt started it until a few days ago. when I did the starter would keep going even after I turned it off. I replaced the starter thinking the solenoid was sticking, but no luck the problem is still there. Do I need spacers for the starter? Battery cable problems? I'm clueless.

Sounds like your ignition switch (on your steering column) under the dash. has come loose or its shot. You can feel a rod going to the switch, One rod is on the left side, (that is your high beam) the rod on the top will be to your ignition switch, work the key and see if the rod is sticking or the switch came loose. Easy to replace, and sounds like your problem. Good Luck
