Need LCA answers ASAP!

This is going to sound totally noobish but today I was replacing the stock arms on my new XJ project with the a set of fixed LCA I had from my old XJ when I ran into a snag. The LCAs have a slight bend with a long side and a short side. I can't for the life of me remember which way they go in. Is it the short side that goes to the axle or the long?

The arms look something like this.

the short side goes on the axle end, its to clear the shock mount when flexing

Short side goes to the axle, long section goes to the lca unibody mount.

short end goes forward. damn, beat me to it.

Thanks guys, that is what I thought but I had one of those..... Did I do that right moments, now back out to the driveway to try to finish this project tonight.
