cold start

went to start my jeep this morning and it was prety cold it started to turn over started and then stalled. It did this twice went up to 1100 rpm and went straight back down to 0...Its an 88 4.0 hoping for advice!!!???

Well i would start by checking the fuel pressure and if it is low then it would be your fuel pump. Another possibility is the crankshaft position sensor. You also might have got some bad gas. that has been happening alot around here lately
