760(297) is the U-joint, they are the "biggest", but for strongest you need to go with alloy shafts.
Non-alloy, around 400-500 for both inner and outters(brand new)
Alloy, double that..
Junk yard, probably around 100-200

Yeah, i'm replacing ball joints and inner seals tomorrow and thought maybe replacing shafts as well. those might have to wait till spring unless I can find some cheap. Or wait till I can regear.
Thanks.

Your jeep already has the bigger 760 joints. Can't remember the year break but the new body style jeeps had them.

Shafts are good!!! Drivers u-joint bad. Six states replaced both sides for $40.(Don't know if that is good or bad?) Didn't get to the seals because I couldn't figure out a tool to remove and replace them. Any help would be awesome!
While doing that, replaced ball joints. My camber was negative so I replaced with new. Went and got an alignment done and guess what?
Camber still -1.4* it didn't solve a damn thing!!!!!!! They say I need adjustable ball joints to fix it! So now I gotta do it all over again next weekend! So with the exception of the u-joints getting fixed, yesterday was wasted! I need to find some good prices on Monday and see if I can return the others.
Any good ideas?

Does anyone here know where I can get adj. ball joints cheaper than $75 a piece?
I don't want to replace the axle until I can afford a 44!
Thanks guys!

I'm tryin to make tires last longer. right now the inside edges are wearing faster. Realistically, the D44 won't happen until the Jeep is paid off(2-3 years)
