No, no. Cut the fenders so he can lower it so low that the only suspension left is the lard in his butt.

eh it's definately not the ugliest XJ i've ever seen, but i certainly would never do that to a jeep...to each his own.

I also custom fabricated an air induction intake for my jeep
yeah, cause cutting off the air tube and shoving a K&N in it is fabbing.

I wasn't refering to what he did with the XJ, just that I hardly consider cutting a tube and using a hose clamp "fabrication"

If you ask me, a "real jeep" wouldn't have a ricer's stereo in it, or 6.5" of lift over 33s, or 12.5" wide tires on 10" wide wheels. Everyone does their own thing to their own vehicles, and I'm fine with that.

we slammed a 2wd for shits and giggles and it ran awesome i never thought an suv, let alone a 1991 cherokee could feel so tight to the road at speed, but that thing is just a fugly red waste of money, the one we had was a 400 dollar non runner that just needed a radiator

But damn I wish my engine compartment was that clean.

hey man, figure 800+ in material, and shop labor, 4k is easy for a factory quality paint job. even if it is ugly.

man, i love nice cars, but those wheels are UGLY, the color, not all that great, and the chrome grill looks terrible, should be body color. i just dont get why you would want chrome on a jeep? all jeeps should be accented in flat black and brushed aluminum.

I can see it costing that much, I just couldn't bring myself to spend that much. You could buy alot of rattle can for a lot less than $4,000.

Chrome looks better on something like a Lancer

I hate to say it, but look at it this way. A. Its not rotting away in a field somewhere. Somebody has actually taken care of it and put some money into it. I'm not a fan of the interior but its not THAT gawdy. To each their own. I'm into big built 4x4s just as much as fast cars, slammed trucks, bikes, etc etc. Some people are just too narrow minded.

Of course the benefit to that is more money for the one thing you like, rather than not enough for any of your hobbies like me!

I do like that Lancer, though. I could stare at that chrome all day long.
