Hey all,

well after some thinking, I decided that the only things I really *need* for my Jeep are a set of front tow hooks (either factory or aftermarket) and a (prefer factory) class 3 hitch with a 2" receiver to hook one of these http://ebay.carpartswholesale.com/images/products_ebay_cpw/240998469.JPG onto it.

Thanks!

whenever my friend gets back to me on what he wants to do with his hitch... and whenever i put his front bumper on my jeep...
we'll have a set of factory tow hooks and a class III hitch available...
should be next week on the bumper install... and the hitch is already off...
sorry about the delay on things...

No problem, I don't mind the wait, I just don't want to do any off-roading until I have some recovery points...

Not trying to tell you what to do but you should look for a rear bumper with recovery points like the JCR or buy a rear bumper with the hitch in it because putting a factory hitch on ruins approach angle. I actually got hung up on mine a few weeks ago. The clevis mount you put the picture up of is a real good setup but would be better if mounted in a bumper higher up.

i've only caught my hitch a couple times... saved my factory rear bumper once... but i kept the hitch because i do a good bit of towing.
NCjeepgirl83... my friend still hasn't gotten his bumper from Nate's 4x4... so that's the hold up for now... but once that happens, i'll have a price for you.
and i agree, i didn't do any wheeling untill i had atleast my hooks, and felt much better with the hitch... never used them, until i got my lift :)
