Cruise control vacuum switch cutoff

What is the vacuum switch on the brake pedal for the cruise control called?

I think it's the "valve, speed control vacuum" Renix J 323 2970. I've also heard them called the cruise control vacuum purge or vent valve or switch ( I forget which).

Assuming you're talking a Renix Jeep, its the little white switch up on the brake pedal right? It can be popped aparted and cleaned up. That's a common culprit for the tranny t/c not locking up as that switch also tells the tcu when you've hit the brakes.

Ya this is what I'm talking about, and its renix Jeep, ya the cruise is not engaging
