How to go from psyced to bummed in 2 seconds flat

Looked at a car last night, nothing special 1989 Prelude. Ive always liked them and found one that wasnt a rustbucket, low miles and decent condition.

Talked to the guy and said id probably be back tomarrow. Wanted to research it a little first. Researched it, liked the specs and was going to buy it today, went there and it was gone.

Sucks being psyced all day long, excited to go get it, cash in hand and see it gone.

Been looking for a car for 3 months now, this sucks.

drove 60 miles to look at an XJ , guy never showed up, and had to drive 60 miles back. wont answer his phone either. so i drove 120 miles total at ~20 mpg on my XJ, what a bummer. Waste of my day. :shiver:

Wife told me 5 minutes ago, to get in the bedroom and take my shorts off(she was WAY serious) and I thought, he'ell yes, and it's not even my birthday, going to busy for the next 2 and half minutes:D, turns out she was going to a load of laundry and she said my shorts were dirty...

To make you feel better, someone that comes into my work regularly bought the same car, same year/body style. It had been sitting mothballed in a parking garage its whole life for decades and was in mint condition. It hadn't been run in years. The guy that bought it was told he could have it for $200 if he could take it away as it was an "eyesore." So, I walked the new owner through the complete process of "bringing it back to life." For $200, a battery, automotive chemicals maybe tires he got the Prelude you wanted, only better. I guess that really doesn't make you feel better unless he offers it up for sale.

I was actually test-driving a Ramcharger that I really wanted...only to return and find someone signing paperwork on it. I was ready to buy. Oh well.

this happened to a friend of mine......

he needed a car to drive cuz he didn't have one and he found a 400 dollar xj that ran told the guy he was gonna get the money together and come look at it, he gets there and finds two guys we know lookin at it too, they both have daily drivers and don't need another car, my buddy offers the 400 the guy is askin but then he says i cant because he just offered me 500 (100 over the asking price) for it.

then he found a car to buy too and was about to get it and had the money all together, and had talked to the guy about it and then all of a sudden he says he's not selling the car anymore, a week later he sells the car to someone else and my buddy is still left without a car to drive
