I have a '93 with an r12 converted to r134 that is working fine. Not great, just fine.
I have a line on an r134 compressor, hoses, condenser, and expansion block for a decent price. Is it worth my while to convert the compressor now, while it's working? Will there be much of a gain?
I've read the 134 uses a higher head pressure. I'm not sure what that means, but I'm guessing it's a function of the compressor.
I'm tempted to buy it, seal up the holes and just hang on to it until required.
Your thoughts?
