Its an act of aggression by the Mexican Army and I would say we have a right to defend ourselves.

Lets invade Mexico. They have cheap oil reserves. And abundant drugs. What are we waiting for?

nothing new, same stuff I hear on a daily basis in El Paso. They escort the drug runners up to the border some times they have crossed too. I think is was a year ago when a hummer came across.

Well I live on the border too in the RioGrande Valley and have never heard of Mexican armed troops over on this side of the river.

Its getting worse in El Paso, already this year there has been over 700 murders from the drug war in Juarez. Think it doesn't effect you, everytime someone of any political influence from there gets shot, them come right to the bridge. Because of some law we have that we won't turn away an injuried person, they take them directly to Thomasons Hospital. And if its a cop or politician then the local PD locks down the hospital. All this is getting payed for out of local and federal tax dollars.

They need to build a few dozen towers, 500ft high on the hill tops and put a shooter and spotter up there with barrets, they could then 'cover' the lone border patrol agent. Just a thought, mexican army pays squat so they are easy for the dealers to buy.

They had this one idea to put cameras all along the border than anyone could go to a web site and watch the cameras. If you saw someone coming across this was supposed to be a link to alert the Border Patrol. I don't think it ever went up though.

Now if they attached a .50 cal to it I might be interested.... I remember there was a hunting camp in Texas that did that so you could hunt over the internet from an armed and remote controlled blind..

I acctualy work in TJ and live in San Diego. It's been pretty rough here as well. I almost got shot about 6 months ago. No i wasnt involved, just wrong place wrong time. If the Juarez border wait is any thing like the ones here, he could get a paper cut and bleed to death before he even go near the border :)

Lol that's pretty funny, yet I'd watch when bored.

The border wait times are crazy from what I'm told, I don't go across. What they do is bring the injuried person to the bridge in an ambulance, they get to go right to the front of the line, drop them right off at the US side, then the BP agents call for an ambulance.
Most of the wait is Americans, legal citizens, that live in Juarez so they only have to pay minimum taxes, no state taxes in Texas. And tons of Kids coming across the border to go to school in El Paso. I wish the schools in El Paso would hire photographers to take pictures of the kids crossing in the morning, take those pictures to the schools and see if those kids are attending school there. If they are, kick them out right on the spot. I think that is how schools in San Diego are doing it. Also I think they should just close the bridge to school age children during school hours.

Why would the canadians sneak across the border here, they have better beer, their stores sell cuban cigars, they have great go go bars, the only reason I can see would be to buy gas....:scottm:
Oh, they do cross at alexandria bay but thats because the malls up that way in canada bite vs the good one in Watertown NY.

Canadians also come to America when they need quality life saving medical attention.
