I have a 97 XJ with an auto but it seems to be having trouble shifting it is real hard some times it seems ti stick and it just seems to be running hard. Any advice would be great

TPS although it should throw a code for that, Kickdown cable needs adjusted, or shift solenoids. And your torque converter might be bunk.

Got new, good Dexron fluid in there? That alone makes a huge difference on how the transmission behaves.
