The axle shaft bearing comes as one piece the cone and cup parts are together and they are installed as one piece on the shaft and the shaft in the axle.
When I pull an axle shaft, the cup breaks loose and stays in the axle and the cone comes out with the shaft.
Do I have to replace the bearing every time the shaft is removed?

I'm a little unsure of what you are referring to...?

If you mean the bearing itself comes out with the shaft and the race stays in the housing, then that is how it is supposed to be.

Thanks. I was wondering because the race brakes off the rest. You start with one piece and after removal the race stays in the axle.
This must be the first conical bearing I've seen that the race and cone are one piece when you buy them.
