Just watching the X Games on TV. Jeff Ward won the Moto X event and was being interviewed afterwards. Right between Ward and the reporter was Matty. He got quite a bit of airtime, maybe a full minute.

The only thing missing was his "famous glasses". :)

haha i saw him, i was thinking the same thing... we need to find him a pair of those just in case he gets airtime again! :D

Yeah boys.. we won two gold medals at X Games yesterday. My rider Josh Hansen won the Supercross & Wardy won Supermoto.
A huge day for our team!!!!

Josh really came in as an underdog, as he just started with our team about 8 weeks ago. But after qualifying & practice, his lap times showed he had the speed to do well.
Saturday he was totally focused on kicking butt & started off by being fastest in the morning practice, winning his heat race & then winning the main event by 10 seconds over McGrath & Josh Grant.

Wardy proved that even though he's 47, he can still kick the butt of kids half his age. He qualified 2nd, won his heat & then proved to be smart & avoided the carnage in the first turn & was in second on lap one. He made the pass & checked out to win by 10 seconds over Yamaha factory rider Brandon Currie.

Im still feeling excited about it all & we are hoping to keep the momentum going into next weekend as we head back east for the next round of the AMA supermoto nationals.

Right on Matty, Wardy is a cool guy. I used to work in the Irvine Auto center(Probably before you were born) when Ward used to ride for Kawi we used to run into him at Naugles, which is now Del Taco. He was so cool! Still kicking ass at 47!!!

Guys, guys, guys... i had some famous sunglasses on.... Limited edition Troy Lee Design Oakley Gascans...

Maybe not as cool as my ones in the video though
