Priandhi,
thanks for posting up about your project.
It's very interesting to see what people in other parts of the world are doing with their rigs.
You've shown us some nicely done vehicles.
Carry on,
nice project,
post some more pics of the rock crawler and the race truck!
Especially tube and suspension pics!

I know, this is not an XJ or Cherokee guys....
This is my 1994 YJ Wrangler bought in original street legal consition in 1995, and since then transformed into a FULL OFF ROAD Race car.
It race in some sort of SODA, CORR and BAJA type race.
I will post a built-up thread of how it transform into this latest stage with all pictures.
The purpose is to share ideas so that I can learn something new and to share my ideas so that it can be implemented in your XJ or what ever it is that you have...
Regards,
-Andhi-

I know, I know...., it is not as FANCY and DETAIL as what you all would have built in the states....
Like I said before, we have LIMITED access to
fancy tools,
welding equipments,
different types of tubing and materials
spare parts, etc
That means we need to be crative and go around the circle to accomplish what we need to accomplish .... RACING.

The E8 Series
The Haltech E8 is packed with more features than any ECU in its class by more than just a quarter mile. The all new E8 performance ECU is for those who are on a budget and need full sequential control for their engine.
The Haltech E8 ECU is an ECU capable of controlling sequential injection on 2 and 4 cylinder with semi sequential 6 and 8 cylinder applications. With 8 channels capable of controlling injection and ignition duties, the E8 can support most modern engines with multi-coil ignition systems, as well as conventional distributor ignition systems. In addition to controlling fuel and spark, the E8 can control various auxiliary engine functions.
Stepper motor and BAC/IAC closed loop Idle Control
Closed loop boost control
Soft cut rev limiter
Tuning via TPS with Manifold pressure correction - Ideal for those multi-throttle body
turbo cars such as, GTiR pulsars and GTR skylines.
O2 sensor closed loop mixture control
32x32 mapping structure
On board data logging (up to 200 samples per second)
User definable mapping points
Numerous correction maps to ensure smooth drivability under varying operating conditions
Windows Software
The ability to calibrate just about any sensor for OEM applications and of course all the
usual outputs you would expect to find in a Haltech engine management system. Click here (http://haltech.com.au/halwin.htm) to read more about the latest Halwin software used to program the E8 ECU.
Typical Applications:
Control of fuel injection on modified engines
Conversion from carburetion to fuel injection
Race and rally applications of all description
Design and development purposes
Educational use by universities and technical colleges
Original equipment in cars and motorcycles The E8 Flying Lead Kit includes:
ECU Programmable Computer, Main Wiring Harness, 3 Power Relays, Programming Cable, Fuse Block Assembly on Harness, Programming CD, Instruction Manual (on CD), Haltech Stickers.
Haltech Hall Effect Sensor
The Haltech Hall Effect sensor has been in production for a number of years and it has been
a popular item due to it’s ability to be able to generate both home and trigger signals from the
one sensor.
The S3 and S4 sensors are used in conjunction with rare earth magnets which must be mounted in non-ferrous surrounds. It is vital to use Haltech supplied rare earth magnets. You may buy cheaper rare earth magnets at your local electronic store but there are many different types of rare earth magnets made from different materials and with greatly differing properties. Some magnets don’t have the required magnetic properties and others will fail at higher temperatures. Others will work correctly at first but will fail over time, particularly at high temperatures. The rare earth magnets supplied by Haltech are carefully chosen for their magnetic and temperature properties to give a long life even if operated at fairly high temperatures.
Dual 12V Ignition Coil
A high energy single coil with two posts. For use with a wasted spark direct fire application.

They have been making AX-15 Gearset for our Speed Off Road.
We have discussed with them what they need, and they custom made close ratio gearset for us.
In Indonesia, ALBINS Gears can be purchased direct from KSNUSA MOTORSPORT.
By having this "CUSTOM MADE" gears, we would able to utilize the 1st gear much longer compared to the original 1st gear which would only be used on starting line only.
Also by having close ratio gearset, you would NOT LOOSE or DROP the engine rpm significant, because the gear ratio of each gear is very close, compare to the drop or ratio of the original gear.
