I got myself a truck

I just picked up today a Chevy 1500HD 4x4 Crew Cab. It is going to be my tow rig for my XJ as I work on it. Figured better to have 1 project and work on that and use this truck for towing so I can relax about if something breaks.

nice find it would be nice to tow home if my junk breaks. i drove home today with a popping track bar and a spare tire on that was slightly smaller than the rest so it wanted to drive in slow circle :roll:

Didnt know they made a 1500 HD. I was under the impression the HD models were 2500 and 3500. Its nice to have a tow rig so you can beat on your jeep a little harder and not have to worry about it getting you home or to work on monday.

Came out w/ it a couple of years ago. I'm not sure what the big differences are other than it's an 8 lug, but it's a half ton.
