Im going up here this weekend for a car camping trip with a non offroading crowd. I have the only offroad capable rig (I will be going alone), does anyone have any firsthand knowledge of NF 56.

I have driven up that road a couple years ago while I was in the area taking classes at the Fire training academy. I don't remember seeing any off road trails in the area, and if there are any, they're probably not legal. There are some really nice camping spots next to the river though. Have fun.

Not really any wheeling out there, just FS roads.

Well that's too bad. I will find another spot on I-90 then.

I think there are some hot springs out there. Forgot the name of them.

Goldmyer hot springs is on the MF Snoqualmie. The "middle middle" is a very popular class 3/4 whitewater run which we've done quite a few times. Too low for that now. No wheeling up there that I'm aware of though creek boaters running the upper section in early spring sometimes need 4wd to get to the put in.
