Yup, I agree 100%.
People these days are way to overly offended by anything they don't agree with.
Don't like it? Don't look and move on. What's so hard about that?
Even though nothing will come of it, its good that she'll at least have something on her record about it. I'm sure it'll mess with her future somehow. It all comes back around.

This reminds me of something my boys told me about my ex-wife, their mother.
She is a big GW Bush hater. She went as far as putting up signs in her front yard "when she lived in Houston" complaining about him publicly. Her right.
Apparently the "base" for the sign was made of Styrofoam. My son told me that one day he was leaving to go to school and there was no sign and Styrofoam all over the yard. (in little pieces).
He laughed when he told me about it. Anyway I guess there are always going to be people that cannot control themselves.
All this happened before he was re-elected. I figure if John McCain wins this time she'll either move to France, or just kill herself. lol

You know in America it is not against the law to be racist. Not that I am or do I agree with racism in any way, but I sure don't agree with certain groups claiming racism as if someone broke the law. They have a right to hate you.

Regarding Obama's recent visit to this part of the world:
"Everything seemed planned for the future campaign commercials — at least, that’s how it seemed to a U.S. Air Force captain when Sen. Barack Obama and his entourage swooped into Bagram Air Force Base in Afghanistan for an hour-long visit last Saturday at the start of a week-long foreign tour.
“He got off the plane and got into a bullet proof vehicle” without pausing to acknowledge the U.S. troops who had been waiting all day just for the opportunity to meet him, the officer told the Blackfive pro-military blog.
As the soldiers lined up to shake his hand, the Illinois senator “blew them off and didn’t say a word,” ducking into the conference room to meet the general.
Then the armored vehicles took him to where “he could take his publicity pictures playing basketball. He again shunned the opportunity to talk to soldiers to thank them for their service,” the captain wrote.
“As you know, I am not a very political person. I just wanted to share with you what happened” during Obama’s visit, the captain related.
“I swear, we got more thanks from the NBA basketball players or the Dallas Cowboy cheerleaders than from Senator Obama,” he added "
(Newsmax)
I have quite a few friends who are stationed at the places he visited. They confirmed this is exactly what it was like....

Dude, this is not unusual at all! My unit was one of the ones escorting McCain around on his visit in that "safe" market place. Not a word. We've had SECDEF, 6 senators of various parties, Gen. Patraus, Tom Brokaw, and a few others I've forgotten come to our JSS. It's in, meet with the Iraqi Army and then out. No small talk or chit chat, just in and out on Blackhawks. Remember that Iraq is still a war zone and the death of any VIP by insurgents would be a propoganda windfall, even if it was by accident. So moving quickly out of an open airfield, though overly cautious makes a lot of sense. I remember standing out in the open at BIAP with no cover close by feeling totally exposed to IDF. It's a real threat that should be mitigated for VIP's like Obama.
Oh! How could I forget Lara Logan from CBS! She is smoking in person, especially after 10 months of only seeing dudes in real life.
Anyway, propoganda like that crap does not get us any closer to a real election based on reason, truth, and unemotional logic like the founders intended. It's just more of the same 'appeal to fear and emotion' Bush style campaigning. Jefferson said "When fear is present, reason is not."

Funny they carried Obama's speech live on four German channels, 3 translated into German and one with him speaking live (English). The Armer forces network here has 6 channels, none carried the speech live (that I saw).
One headline in a German newspaper (tongue in cheek) said elect Obama President................................Of Germany.
I may be full of it, but experience tells me if the Germans like him so much there has to be something really wrong with him. The French are too wise in the ways of politics to endorse him, they know he would loose for sure then.
IMO the people are just tired of business as usual and willing to endorse anything that might offer an alternative, whether it works or not.
If he does get elected, the House and Senate Republicans will try to block any and all initiatives he proposes, no matter there merit or desirability. Just like the Dems are doing now. They seem to hate each other so much it's almost impossible for them to work together for the greater good.
The Germans relate to Obama because he is a minority and the Germans have always thought of themselves as misunderstood victims. The rest of Europe sees them as arrogant, loud, obnoxious and pushy.
After what has happened in the oil futures market recently, Germany is rethinking their support for Kyoto and the plan to trade CO2 just like oil. More and more Germans are thinking America was wise to opt out. The only thing they hate more than America being wrong, is America being right.

you are all a bunch of racists, especially you Dark, trying to bait someone into a racially divisive argument. I want us all to hold hands and sing some songs, not any song with an undertone like Kumbaya that's got a history of "coming from Africa", and not some "spiritual" song, that would be insensitive to those with differing views. I know how about we hum, quietly to ourselves. Now that I think of it holding hands, we will need to be placed, white, black, brown, yellow, red, oh hell, there I go with the white first, I'm so sorry, have I offended anyone? How about we all stay exactly where we're at and hum quietly. Unless that bothers anyone, then we could just think about humming, unless you don't want to think, that's ok too.:wierd:

You know the offender wasn't white, otherwise it would have stated it IN the headline.
I am so sick of the double standard of the media and society in general...
And the fact that the biggest crime one can commit these days is to offend. Thats a hallmark of socialism and Islam rearing its ugly oppressive head.

one thing guys, SERIOUSLY. The one big thing that was pointed out in this article that I want everyone to remember, is. The article reports that these people "noticed her following them" or something to that effect. Guys, and gals (p.c.) I do not care how cool or tough you are, if you ever notice someone following you DO NOT LEAD THEM TO YOUR HOUSE!!! It is easy enough to take your tag and find you, but to lead someone you do not know to your home puts all you hold dear in grave danger. Lead them to the local P.D. or any large populated area, or be stealthy and loose them. To lead someone to your house is almost dumber than to freak out about someones goofy sticker. Protect yourself and your family, we love you all, and will miss you when you're gone, so don't rush it.
