Just a feeler in return, but would you take a 79 Ford HP Dana 60 in exchange for both axles? It's the desireable one with the king pins and space enough on the driver's side for coil buckets and link bracketry.

Do you have a matching rear?

Why, yes. Yes I do. I neglected to mention that they both are 4.10 geared as well.

Would that be a Corp14, and would you be willing to trade both?

The 60 has discs, right?

It's a Dana 60 as well, but not high pinion obviously.

The front does. The rear 60 has massive drums. There are kits on ebay and other sites to convert a rear 60 to disks.
Who installed the gears in your axles and how long have they been in there? Also, what size tires are you running on them?

Scratch the tire question. I did some serious investigating and discovered you are running 35" Krawlers. That is if your signature is still correct. :D

The guy that did all the work lives in Magna. If I'm correct his name is Steve (not 100% sure on the name). He used to be the shop foreman of Factory Tubular back in the day and prior to that he owned and operated his own 4x4 shop.
I picked the Front axle up from a guy on :NAXJA:. His name is Mike and he lives in Layton. I bought the rear axle from the guy who built both axles and the rear has less than 2500 miles on it. No idea how many miles the front has on it. I'm really happy with the gear set and you can tell by looking at them they were installed properly. The rear axle had the gears, locker, shafts and bearings all done at the same time.
I installed the axles just before Easter this year and have had them on the trail a couple of times. I really like these axles, but I'm getting bit by the full width bug.

I’m awfully tempted, especially by that front axle. I may have to turn right around and sell the rear since I still owe a little money on the truck. Originally, I had planned on selling the truck as a whole since it still drives well and is in fairly good shape for a 30 year old truck, but with the way the economy is, it may be easier to part it out and trade or sell the parts.
Can I have a day or two to think about it?
