What is the bolt thread/pitch for a Transfer case crossmember?

Who can tell mewhat bolt size the transfer case crossmember is held on with? -2 of them are bolts, 2 are studs...what is the thread and pitch? I took one of the bolts to a hardware store, and tried Metric and Standard, none semed exact..

I seem to recall they were metric. The threads may be a bit tapered, but a standard bolt should work. If the head is stamped 8.8 or 10.9 then its definitely metric and you should use 10.9 if you can find it (equivalent to SAE grade 8). If it's SAE (standard) then it will likely have 3 or 6 dashes going around the head.

They are M10x1.50 - you can remove the studs and replace them with bolts. I think mine are about 50mm long at this point; it isn't as critical because the excess length simply goes into the "frame"
