rear brake line between axle and frame

Stockton

NAXJA Forum User
I'm trying to replace my rear flexible brake line between axle and frame...as a new lift is going on (slowly due to a LOT of oxidation and cans of PB Blaster). Anyway, my question is in regards to the brake line junction on the top of my Chry 8.25. I know the axle breather is at the top, the two axle brake lines and the flexible line...how do you take this junction box off of the axle to put the new one on? Is it the bolt that the breather tube attaches to? The new line that came from RE has the junction box on it already but no breather tube attachment...so am perplexed. I don't want to break more than I have to. Thanks in advance.

The vent bolt is hollow, just remove it!

The "T" is part of the hose assembly.

Remove your old hardlines from the "T", and remove the vent bolt holding the "T" to the axle.

Reverse the procedure to assemble.
