auto shut down code

im working on a friends 95 XJ 4.0L its showing a autoshut down code and cranking over with no start... he says he replaced the ASD relay with no start before i get into this thing is there anything i should be looking for first?

I would also check the pesky fuel pump relay. The other item that will give you a fit is the acc. fuse. If it blows it will throw a trouble code sometimes sayiong it is the ASD. This on one of my rigs is what powers my ASD. Just my two pennies of thought and pee poor wisdom.. Hal :flame:

accessory type fuses like for the dash and such. I am sorry I cannot recall which silly one was blown that caused the problem. :smsoap:
