OK, here is the timeline I have been given: FROM the date the order is placed, the laser cutter has given us a 2 to 4 week window. From the time the laser cutter is done, the roller has given us a 4 to 6 week window. Once all the work is done, it will take a few days or so to get them all assembled and welded. SO, this means from the time I place the order, we are looking anywhere from 7 to 11 weeks. Now, it's very possible this will take place quicker, and from what I understand the laser cutter will call when our pieces start so that we can get our place held in line @ the roller, so they could be done in as little as a month or month and a half, but I am NOT going to hold my breath and I am NOT going to promise anything... that is why I am telling you all the worst case scenario.

nope they are how they are. they make junk like that on the net for sale that just cover over the sides of the rig leaving the factory tail lights there.

Sorry for the delays guys. LIFE has just been happening. Been a crazy end to the summer, getting kids back to school, busy at shop, etc. Not trying to make excuses just running behind. If it helps I would like a set too. Broke my right hand side tail light on Boxing Day sliding sideways into a steep bank. Only problem is it will need to be shipped to New Zealand, tho' I am happy to pay the shipping (if it is reasonable).

Just a bump for those who may be on the fence. I have a set on my 97. I love them! They are tough as nails too! I've bounced them off of trees and rocks on multiple occasions, no damage. That, and they look friggin COOL!

The only thing I suggest different than what I have on mine is the lighting mouts. I have a standard oval, and a round mounting hole. Scrap the round, its worthless...unless its needed for some of our guys to pass vehicle inspections, and if thats the case, where do you buy the round lights in a white?

The necessary phone calls and price quotes have been made. Production will be starting soon. The last couple of days have been spent organizing my notes, emails, PM's, and phone #'s so I can start contacting everybody who is interested and make payment arrangements. Pricing WILL be the $345 mentioned earlier in this thread. This price includes all required mounting hardware, but does not include lights, grommets or freight. I figure it will take a week or so to get everybody's payment arrangements handled, and actual production should take 2-3 weeks. Luckily, the shops who are handling the laser cutting and rolling are no longer nearly as backlogged as they were on previous orders and can get us taken care of in a much more timely manner.

Thank you all for your patience, I will be contacting everybody who was interested soon.

Edit: Payment can be made with cash, check, credit card, or paypal. WA residents are subject to sales tax.

Yes, that is what you will be getting for a late model, in your case, your '01.

But, the lights are not included. IIRC, they can be found at some hardware stores. Someone else who has bought them should chime in with an accurate place to purchase the LEDs.

Lights are not included but can be found pretty cheap at auto stores, ebay, tractor supply shops and truck/trailer shops. I got mine for $11 each from a local trailer shop (non LED)

you can buy STOP TURN TAIL lights and have the Backup in the place of the Amber.

There are write-ups / wiring diagrams for this procedure... not hard to do with the right stuff.

That is how the late medel comes. You can add a back up light into the small round light hole instead of an amber. The red tail should work as driving/stop/turn

Yeah I've had it apart twice, first cleaned it without re greasing the contacts, then again covering the contacts with di-electric grease, but i'm still getting a CEL, no backup lights, and overdrive about 50 % of the time. Other then that everything is working fine :wierd:
