I posted this in modified tech,but got no replies.So ill try it hear.I have an 87 cherokee wagoneer.Was wondering what kind of gears I have,reverse or standard.Have a dana 44 in rear(stock),and a dana 30 high pinion(stock).Im looking on ebay for gears right now,need them desperatley.

Not to be picky but I put this in here to get some help.Its been veiwed at but no one anwers???

Reverse cut gears are the ones for the front, so you have both.

Is there a way I can tell by not opening it up?

If the pinion sets above the axle center line ("high pinion"--like the front, XJ D30), then it uses "reverse cut" gears, other wise, it's standard rotation.
