Ford 8.8 install w/4.56 and arb.. what to I cut to notch the cross pin?

I need to notch the cross pin on my arb 8.8 install with the 4.56s, does anyone have a picture or info on what I need to do to the cross pin in regards to notching it to clear the crown gear.

The guy at randys ring and pinion to my to grind the teeth on the gears b/c it doesnt affect the strength or wear of the gear unlike the strength you lose when notching the pin
