Anyone else have an LT1 powered vehicle?

A couple months ago I picked up a 1995 Caprice Classic that has the LT1 V8 in it. I've been doing some very small upgrades/deletions in hopes of making it run a little smoother. Just wondering if anyone else on here has a Caprice/Corvette/Camaro and if so what you've done to it.

father used to daily drive a 93 caprice with the 5.0. 90k i believe

crap mileage, crap power, rust is eating the exhaust alive, only reverse/neutral/1st/2nd in trans.

its about to be put down... he's dialy driving my jeep for now.

Haha nice, the little V8 always seemed to lack somehow. My Grandma has the wagon version of what you're talking about that has the 305 I believe, that engine leaves some to be desired. The trans on that one seems to be holding but I've heard others complain about them too. Doesn't really help my quandry out, but it is good to hear stories like that. Thanks for sharing. Anyone else?

i have an ls-1 f-body but the lt1 isnt so bad except for the opiti-crapper.
