Well after having my Jeep for over a year I started getting tired of having no real usable space. Every time I wanted to put anything big into my car I would end up taking out the back seat.
This was my old setup.

I had been looking into the Pod enclosure that Quadratec sells but I knew that a single 8" sub wasn't enough for me and after reading some of the responses about this box and looking at the right-up on the "Cubby Hole" enclosure here http://www.jeepforum.com/forum/showthread.php?t=97186 it got me thinking about what I could do. I decided that I wanted to keep the cubby hole intact and still build a box that could hold a larger woofer.
So I went down to Home Depot to pick up some 3/4" MDF Board, some screws, Liquid Nails and WeatherStripping. I started out making my template out of cardboard to see how much room I was going to need and get some general dimensions.

I then started measuring up the template and wound up with this as the final result. Need to tighten up the Vinyl covering a bit.

The rear of the box that fits nice over the hump for the wheel well.

Now I can actually fit something in my car again. Look at all that room and still have a nice stereo. http://memimage.cardomain.net/member_images/1/web/2065000-2065999/2065986_98_full.jpg
This works out perfect as I have good bass when I want it but not overpowering like it used to be. It is nice with rock and when I listen to rap it still can hit hard and low. Exactly what I was going for. I think it came out pretty good for my first woodworking project since High School. If I need the extra width i can pull the spare out and the box need-be and be good to go. And it's back to stock I decide to.
