shackle flip

im starting a build and am going to have long arms in the front with 7.5 re lift coils. i have a good idea how to lift the front but not the rear. the person who sold me the lift coils said he did a shackle flip on the rear and got a ton of lift. i tried searching but couldint find any write ups. has anyone done a shackle flip.

uhhh have you ever looked at your shackles? they are already hung from the top and not the bottom. They are already "flipped". The mod you speak of is a common mod for chevy truck and other fullsizes with rear leaves

i just looked and i figured out what he did. i gues he just dropped the whole shackle mount a couple of inches.
