You'd have guessed right about my Korean decent. I was just playing around with Sequoia. Those bass take 7 years to grow just 1 pound so that puts that fish at about 30 years old or so. I released him after a few pics were taken even though they are tasty.

Not long cause we were using 15 lbs test leader. If you don't stop these fish before they pull you into the rocks/kelp they'll break you off.

Sweet catch Kyung. Really nice shades of dark and green. Looks like a pretty healthy fish.
I'm gonna go beat up the bruisers over in the Taylor River all weekend. I'll have pics on Tuesday. Have fun up in the high streams. Wish you could meet up this weekend Idiot but I understand. Pretty soon things will start gettin' nutty on the dream stream. I'll be sure and let you know when the spawn is in full swing. Gotta try and get that formatt guy a tight line too this fall.

Caught off the coast a little further south fishing the "boilers". No pic of the fly. Imagine a clouser-ish type of baitfish pattern tied with light olive and white yack hair and stick on eyes (not dumbbell). My captain bud, Bill, ties it on a bentback hook, so it pulls through the kelp/rocks without getting hung up as often.
Kyung
P.S.--You gonna miss out this weekend. :passgas:
