The jeep has been dormant for quite some time, I decided to take her through some mild wheelen came home and saw the result. It never overheated while in 4low and ran just fine on the way home. I did some mellow creek fjording but the water level never came up to the o2. I'm not sure if it was necessary to convert to a HO o2 after swapping over the entire top end but this is the only thing I can think of.

Its' old, it broke. Perhaps it was hot sensor meets cold water.

Put a jack under your axle and cycle your front suspension on that side all the way up. I bet your upper arm or pinion is coming in contact, or atleast was coming in contact, with your o2 sensor when the front axle is fully compressed. I put a custom exhaust on mine and had the same problem...I relocated my o2 to the header collector.
