disco dana 30 no 4wd

i swapped a hp disco dana 30 in my 00 xj, ive been wonder if the 4wd will work with out the vaccuum?! i took it out today and to my thoughts i was right i dont have 4wd... so my question is, do i have to take out the disco shaft for some non disco ones?! thanks!

haha sorry didnt know which one is went so i put it in both ill delete the other one!!

Just shim it over with some washers. Its just 4 bolts, three E-clips, and thas it. Thats what i did, it worked. Now i have a non-disco axle.

hmmm ok i might do that for now... thanks!
 
Also, something you should know, is that doing that will result in your front axle turning everything up to the transfercase. You will always be turning the gears in the diff, and the front axle.
 
well i just decided to just switch the shafts to the bigger ujoints:)!
