I'm new to the jeep thing.I'm wanting to get a rear locker for my xj,but I'm not sure which one to go with .Right now I'm hung in between the Detroit e-z lock and the powertracks lock right .What is everyones opinion on these two.

i have 51K miles on a Powertracks No-Slip installed on a 8.25 axle. works great, hardly ever makes a sound, gives a little torque steer on the street but nothing to worry about. i'd buy it again. and it was an easy install.

I'm not a fan of the ez-locker. I've seen two of them, and both are broken. :)

The Powertrax No-Slip if its available for your rear end is a good choice.

If you have a dana 44, go with an Aussie locker. Its cheaper and better than either above.

If your only choice is a lock-rite, you should probably upgrade your rear end before you buy a locker..
