Whether it's ground clearance or the stock appearance you want to maintain, this is what you need.
One set weighs in at about 50#

As some of you may know Dirk Pitt (Adam) and myself are starting an offroad business and will be releasing a few more NEW XJ products. Please contact Adam or myself if you are interested in purchasing a set ($150 / set).

Please keep an eye on the give away forum in the next two days we will be giving some goodies away.

We will start taking orders and giving stuff away as soon as the state approves our paperwork…..should be anytime now.

Looks similar but at a more reasonable price. Those ones from Rockratz were as much as most traditional sliders.

When I posted this up I thought we were the only ones making them.....Oh well. I can add some holes for self tapping screws if that would interest anyone.

I am in the same boat. Bolt on would be really nice. Would they be painted/powder coated or just plain steel?

Might have to do a little reforming of the original rockers, but these would def stiffen everything up.

Brian, I'd suggest the following:
A cross section picture like they've got. I'm sure you can find a rocker to cut out, you know you wanted to make that rock buggy anyway!
Don't put holes in them!
I really dig the idea of form fitting and strong, some of us do like our stock Jeeps but wouldn't mind hardening certain points, you know?

I think adding the holes would be a good idea, if you don't use screws you can use them for plug welds.....
As for a fitment view, my rig hasn't had rockers for a while now, but we will be adding a set to Adam's jeep, we will get pictures after that is done.
Thanks for all the input keep it coming.

that would be funny if you drug that rocker down the side of a rock and broke off all the screws or bent them up real good and the armor plate came off! That just doesnt seem like a good idea.
The one's brian is making seem better, they fit, and weld on!

I bought your shackle relocation brackets. They were'nt what I expected. Much better, I quess that's what you get for dealing with the little guy. Might be interested in a set if they stiffen up the body. I already have Detours slyders. the bolt on type so don't need protection.

If you have the rocker skins avilable in the next month or so, i will do an install writeup along with OEM rocker replacement (I like Overkill!!!). I might even fab up some braces to go between the rocker skins to the frame reinforcements to make some molded-in rock rails.

I cound have made my own If I wanted them to look like hard noodles and hold up as well as soft noodles. I hope no one misqoutes now, maybe I should just shut up! No, people should how good a product isza.

I'm thinking seriously about doing these when I reassemble my '90 XJ because I have very questionable rocker panels. I was wondering if one can still run a stock flare in conjunction with these? I see on the Jeep in the first picture that it looks like the flares are notched out. I will be all over these if they either will fit now or if you guys can just send me a shorter set so I can run my lastara stock flares. Let me know please.
Thanks,
Collin

When we get into really making these, they will be something like 66" long you can trim them or your flares however you like.

Typical vendor buisness practice, say you have a new product, but not in stock, then never answer questions about that product.whatever interest i had is long gone now!

I'm pretty sure these guys have more important things to do than monitor forums all day long, like he said shoot a pm almost easier than posting a reply in a thread and you get the response as soon as you log in. When they are online they do their best to field all the questions they can. If you were really interested I'm sure you woulda got in touch. I'm interested in them but dont have the dolla at this moment. when I do thou I'll be pm-ing an order for the shackle box and the rocker protection (if available). THD has great service, fast shipping and order tracking.

Don't want to get into a pissin match here. but look who originally started this thread! got it now. didn't even have in stock! never gave price! parts not on web site! wouldn't it have been really simple when starting this thread for a new part being offered to at least post the price? and have a few sets made in advance! and have a decent picture of them! and i undestand not all vendors check possible sales daily. which is exactly my point!! not a problem have something else lined up. have a good evening all..

How about countersunk holes so we can screw them on and not have the screw head sticking out?

We have decided these are not worth making, the cost is more than people have been willing to pay, we may change our minds later. Sorry.
