Anybody have a line on a cheap '91 or later parts jeep? I need one that is reasonably complete - must have drivetrain and electrics - less concerned about body parts. I would prefer a runner but might be able to handle one that needs an engine rebuild. Southern Idaho, northern Utah, ?, I would like to keep the distance to a minimum.
Thanks

My brother called me yesterday to tell me about one he has in St Anthony Id. Its an 84 though. He says the motor is gone but the body is super straight and they are just going to send it to the scrap yard if someone doesn't pull some parts off.

Thanks for the replies. I'm really looking for the HO engine and controls to go into a non-running '89 hence the desire for a '91 or later. Most of the ones I see getting parted out, have vital components gone already. And I don't want to get into the swap and find out I didn't get a part that is needed.

Wish you would have told me this two months ago.
I took Stinky II to the junkyard with a complete engine, computer and harness.

I should have paid more attention. For some reason, I thought S-II was an earlier model. Oh well - at that point I wasn't really headed down this road so I'm not sure I would have jumped on it anyway.
