Ideas on a code 24 TPS

Code thrown is 24, says throttle position sensor.

Replaced the sensor with a new one. Couldn't notice any issues in the wiring.

Any other common reasons it'd throw that code? Jeep has bad hesitation and can't get it cleared up.

It's a 91 4.0/AW4/NP231

Bad wiring. Get a voltmeter and check at the TPS connector that you have a good ground, +5volts, and a signal that changes when you move the throttle by hand (key on, engine off). You might need to double check that it's on correctly with the arm on the sensor getting moved when you move the throttle plate.

Disconnect the battery overnight and try it again. Drive it so it can relearn all the sensor properties, may take 20-30 minutes of stop and go, and some freeway cruising for it to work out all the kinks.

Or get a real fancy scanner that can clear the codes and reset the computer and erase the old bad sensor data (If there is such a thing).
