What is required if anything to put a HO head in a renix jeep? Reason Im asking is the stroker Im building says to use a ported HO Head. I was unsure if I could just bolt on a HO head and be fine or if other things had to be changed.

If you're referring to one of the stroker "recipes" on my site http://www.jeep4.0performance.4mg.com/stroker.html you can use the Renix head but accept that it'll make slightly less HP/TQ even when ported. If you want to use a HO head, I suggest you also get the intake/exhaust manifolds and throttle body to go with it. There's plenty of them in the junkyards so you should find them cheap.

You shouldn't have any problems with putting a Renix head on a HO block. The HO blocks from 91-95 don't have location dowel pins, same as the Renix block. Later blocks 96+ have head (and gasket) location dowels. This usaully isn't a problem. I used the location dowels to locate the head gasket, and eyeballed the head location, through the bolt holes.
In a smog state, it might get a bit messy trying to keep the EGR stuff. Since you in Indiana, this wouldn't be a problem. I would use a HO intake manifold. You might also consider using the HO throttle body (TB), too. If you go this route, then you will have to adapt the Renix TPS (Throttle Position Sensor). I think there are kit for this. It doesn't look to complicated as a DIY project. If you can't find the info, I'll search around.
The other way is to make an adapter plate to mount your Renix TB onto the HO intake manifold. I'm not sure anyone makes them any more.
