If you get gamers, let me know. I'm in the Springs and not sure which access point you are gonna use. Gas the way it is, I don't wanna go too much outta my way if I can help it. Keep posting on meeting point if you wouldn't mind. thanx

Where is Rampart? And do you mean this coming weekend or the one after?
Just looked it up on Trail Damage. "There is always room for two vehicles to pass with ease, and though it is usually very smooth there are some rough spots." Sounds a little boring actually. Is it really all smooth and easy or are there some nice and fun challenging spots? I'd be more down for something like Spring Creek, Bill Moore Lake, or Red Elephant Hill/Empire Loop.

This coming one and the trails start near Sedalia and go all the way to Woodland park. We would be lucky to hit more then a few of them. I have a map I just need to find out which ones would be the most fun. Cause some of the roads are just gravel nothing hard.

Yeah I noticed its pretty close, I'd be interested in exploring the side roads. I'm not looking to do some crazy difficult trail, but I do want to give my Jeep a good work out. Maybe we could start out kind of early so we could actually explore as much as possible.

Eagle rock is a pretty sweet trail, its right there next to Mt Baldy trail. I used to run those when i was stationed at Ft Carson. I shouldn't have any problems with wheeling next weekend, its just this coming weekend funds are going to be tight. Still, I'm hoping I can still make it.

Well as for hitting up Eagle Rock next weekend a good place for us Denver area peeps would be the Shell station off of Wolfenberger Rd in Castle Rock. Then anyone from the Springs area or south could link up with us at the bottom of Old Stage Road Where it fisrst goes from paved to dirt.
As for Rampart this weekend, not sure.

You any good at regearing D30's? I have experience with the Aluminum GM 12-bolt diffs the HMMWV's use but have never dealt w/ a D30. I'm supposed to be picling up a 3.55 gear set for it this weekend. Want to help me out?
I also need to swap in my ChryCO 8.25.

I also need to swap in my ChryCO 8.25.Yeah bring it over. We need a new crush collar. Goto the parts store and see if you can get a crush collar for D30. As long as they are stock gears we can reuse the stock shims and bearings. I am going to buy a press might just have to get it this weekend.

A press? Shouldn't need a press. Anyways, PM me your contact info. Maybe this weekend we can get her done? I'd like to get that axle swapped and the front regeared so I can get back some mileage, plus it'll help on the trail.

Just tried to call you. I went to my storage and popped the cover on my 8.25, its got a 3.55 gear set in it as well. So I definately want to get it installed. Its a 27 spline, I've got all the 29 spline stuff for it but don't feel like changing it out. Want to weld the spiders in it while we are at it? I'm not worried about them as I've got the 29-spline stuff I can swap in if it goes kaputz.

I am more worried about you snappin a axle shaft with your Lincoln Locker. Should be interesting to say the least.:D

Oh please, its not some sissy arse D35 axle shaft. Its that awesome mightiness of a 27 spline 8.25. Besides, I have a set of 29 spline shafts w/ carrier and spiders so if it does go kaputz I can just do a "quick" swap on the trail.
