Engine swap

I have a 2.8 in my XJ now but can get my hands on a 3.4 and the computer that goes with it. What will this swap require? Will it take any special fabrications? Will it bolt up to my transmission since the two engines have the same block?

It's supposed to be a straight swap. I have a 2.8 as well and want to change, but I'm considereing the 3800 pontiac motor.

I wonder if the supercharged 3800 fits as well in there eh?

I think I read that you have to use the bottom end of a 3.8 from the f-body(RWD) and then bolt in the top end from the supercharged FWD 3.8 application.
