how are the spring rate up front for the new wrangler jk? will front coils fit an xj? lift or lowering? can get a set of 2,5" lift coils for jk...just curious how they work on a xj

They are much softer and they will flex much more than any xj coil. A 5" jk coil will give your xj about a 3.5" lift because of its soft spring rate.

BS! I put the coils off of my thers JK and my *stock* XJ coils side by side, and the JK coils were about 2.5" shorter. Add the softness.. and a lifted JK coil MIGHT work to replace a stock xj coil.
