Testing Injectors

I obtained some injectors from a newer(99) XJ, and was pondering swapping them into my 93. Of course assuming mine are working fine, I don't see how there could a be a benefit. So my question is,, is there anyway to test injector to see if is worth replacing? The only way I see is hooking them and cranking engine, to see spray pattern, but that seems dangerous. Anybody got a better way?

You could ohm them, but that doesnt really do anything anyways. Better off to take them to an injector shop(like Dr. Injector up where I live) and have them check/clean them for you. I wouldnt just pull the rail and attempt to look at the spray pattern.
