What T-Case will fit my jeep?

So I have alot of slop in my t-case and it needs to be replaced. So I found a guy that will sell me one for $95 bucks out of a 96 XJ the tranny is a 231J thats whats in my jeep now right. 1993 XJ Sport. But I want the T-case with AWD like Scotts 86. So what T-cases fit in my jeep. You help is greatly appreciated.

either a 242(full time) or a 231 (part time) will fit.

Why? I would stick with the 231J.

x2. And $95 is a good deal.

This really belongs in tech, because there are some other issues to consider (what year your Jeep is vs. the T-case going in, etc).

the 231 T-Case is out of a 1996 and I have a 1993. With a 231 T-Case you think I will have any issues putting this in.:helpme:
