Whats up guys, just wanted to stop in and see what was going on over here. I am in the market for a cheap stock XJ that I can trick out.
Right now I have a ZJ:eyes: that I have done all the work to, I can post pic if anyone is interested.
Hoping to get some info as to what I should look for in an XJ and what I should avoid.
I want the 4.0, but could care less as to how many miles or how the body looks, all I want is something that runs, haha
I have seen a few XJ's around town and I am sure someone had to see mine.
I saw ya'll were having a party at fiesta, are only XJ's allowed?
Well, I look forward to getting to know ya'll and hopefully soon having an XJ.

Definetely come to the island....good times.
As for looking for an XJ....Buy one already built. You will spend a couple grand more initially, but it will already be pretty close to what you want and WAY cheaper in the long run.
Also, my vote is for a 97-99. Seems to be the best of all worlds. Nicer looking body, less fender trimming up front for aftermarket bumpers, high pinion front axle, nicer interior, 99 is even better because you get a slight amount of power increase. And of course, it will be easier to find one with lower mileage.
I'll sell you mine for HALF what I put into it :D
