i was told it is a (gonna check the bom today)
99 so
1988-91.5 F-350 with single rear wheels (SRW)
85-91.5 F350 kingpin drivers reverse
leaf
69.25"
internal 35 / 30 36.5"
dual piston
pinion centerline to knuckle centerline
about 3.5" more to drivers side than 78-79
so coil placement is a lttle harder Ill figure it out
I have a empty d30 for jig purposes
coil overs are the end goal
here is a 63 wms -nice width
the 44 well-u joints are the problem--ctms would be nice
i have always heard that the 37" tires put a tax on them
the wheeling i do is all 5+ trails and I not sure that the axle is up to it. I might build a real buggy some day and I know that the 60 is the way to go..resale is good. and i was told to run 35 's max by everyone
things Ive broken
ball joint..(it was old but it did break
stock u joint . stock axle in very mild stuff
now alloys are way different , but I have seen some pedal down wheelin and sometimes its just plain necessary
hammers---back door for one. upper and lower
its the difference between planting your foot firmly into the gas and pointing forward
i will run 39's eventually
and finally i don't want to be the guy who broke a axle on the traill\
i want to be the guy drinking my beer watching the work
the 44's ar e for sale ..(thread on pirate)
anyone runnin a pass side shortened ie narrowed width..I thin it might be worth it to get the wms respectalble
