waiting for my overknuckle steering to arrive before installing MM man hubs and new alloy front axles...

its fiberglass..figure it would help reduce weight up front considering all the mods since stock....got it from a guy on ebay in san diago......the opening should help wilth the heat build up on slow summer daycrawls. it rained like a bastard last night....very little water.

that hood is sick. I'm seriously thinking about it but i'd feel bad spray painting a $300 hood camoflauge to match the rest of the jeep...

His price went up i looked at the auction a couple weeks ago and they were $199.

here's that link....looks like the guy i bought it from raised the price 100 bucks from 199 to 299 but he charged be fixed rate shipping. he now caculates by distance.

here are the inside the cab pix...and yes i did get it functional, that should help with the heat. u can see from the pictures that its open.. Notice my beutimus wrecker in the background!

yep that hood is bad ass... and would look cool with some graphic on the front ( no center indent)... too bad its so steep.

Have you used your AC with the new hood yet? I heard from someone else that had a hood like that that it causes the AC to blow hotter because the AC intake is right there where the hood lets hot air out.

funny you should ask that. i just charged the system and i left the engine running after and got distracted with a phone call for 'bout 1/2 hour and it was like an icebox.

Cool, so I guess whoever told me might have just had a bad ac system.

Sweet hood yes will getting that one for mine later on, and be functional and talk to the guy and he told me he can had metal mesh to the opening to close it up.

You need to post a full shot of your jeep though, a side and front shot wanna see how that hood looks from a far and with those BW on there too.

how was the fit and finish of that hood? Did it take much work to fit well and get smooth? Did it all line up good?
