Taylor Pass Road can be combined with Italian Creek Road (http://www.naxja.org/forum/showthread.php?t=954116) to make a shortcut between Aspen and Crested Butte, Colorado.

I love that area. My favorite route from Aspen to CB is Pearl Pass.
Scofield is pretty in that area as well.
