Do you have pictures of a dropped 98 plastic fuel tank?

the tank dropped;
the pump assembly is retained by a plastic cap that screws onto the tank
remove plastic cap, take assembly out (watch for gauge arm getting bent when removing)
3 long armed clips hold pump assembly together, push them in, pull assembly apart
once your in there the new fule pump should have instructions on what to do
easy peasy from there on in

really not a difficult job, key points

release fuel pressure before you start the job (forgetting sucks) if the straps look rough get new ones before you start, careful not to crack the plastic cap its not exactly strong, I used over sized slip jaw pliers to remove mine worked like a charm
while I had the tank down I took the time to clean everything out of it, little bits of dirt, plastic/foil cap from fuel additive bottle someone had pushed into the bottle which than emptied into the tank and anything else that you may find in there.

2 hours if you've never done it before.
