fitting a mopar Tcase skid to a NP 242

probably wont fit well because the 242 wasnt offerd on the 84-86. you might be able to driil new holes in the frame rail and crossmember to get it to fit.
 
That and the 242 hangs down about an inch lower than a 231 or 248
 
On the early models, they used a different skid for the 242 and 231. In the later years they put 242 skids on everything. You can tell the difference between the two because the 242 skid has an additional bend or step on it to clear the 242 case.

and it sucks ballz. it hangs so low and catches all the time. its better than nothing which is why I run it but I am constantly tryin to come up with something better
