I checked out the the web site. No mention of it being closed that weekend. Maybe someone can chime in with more experience.

Sounds good to me. Lisa and I would go down Saturday and spend the night. Maybe a small BBQ?

Last I checked camping was a really expensive six bucks a night. There are flush toilets and water.

I'll be there. If I have Friday off, then I'll be there that night. I LUV Tri-tip! :D Now that you mention it, we can start planning the pot-luck BBQ.

I'll beg my wife to make a big batch of cookies, nothing like hot salsa and chocolate chip cookies :D . I'll bring a gallon of milk to wash it all down.

On another note:

I know I started this thread, but I have never been to Hollister Hills. Is there enough to do to warrent staying the night?

My plan so far is to leave Friday to Milipitas to drop off a bike trailer to a friend. Stay the night in Milpitas, then meet everyone at the OHV park on Saturday Morning. Stay Saturday night come home on Sunday. Unless there is a lot to do then I'll stay another night. :)

My cousin and I got there Fri afternoon and left Sunday around noon,
We did not do the whole thing....... But being new to offroading we did all the little stuff and watched alot of other people. I'm going to let my wife drive so I'll be there fri-sun

It looks like we want to hit the Upper Ranch, and we have about 4-6 rigs going. I have a Brother In-Law coming with his 4runner. I can't make it until Saturday Morning, I have to run up to Milpitas and back. So if anyone is going Friday could you please spot out a couple sites for the rest of us.

I figure most of us could meet at the campground Saturday Morning. Then leave a note for others who may be showing up a little later. Like Me :wink:

as of right now saturday morning is my goal. do you want to hook up and caravan down? i'm in campbell so we could meet somewhere around 85 and 101 or 17 and 85. not sure if i'm staying the night yet. a little night driving does sound good though.

Looks like I'll be coming down Saturday morning and staying the night. I'll probably have breakfast in Hollister at Jerry's restaurant then get over to the park by 10:00 A.M.
Where do you all want to meet?

I think the Upper Ranch campground would be the best, since some have mentioned that they will be getting there on Friday. I can definitely make it there by 10AM.

I still don't know if I'm going to Milipitas before or after yet. Thanks for offering the caravan Kernel :) .

All I can say that there looks like it should be a really good turn out. I can for 3-4 more rigs that haven't posted on this thread. Definitely puts the total close to Ten of us. Some of us are doing some parts swapping. So bring your swappable junk.

Just making sure, the person who said they have a friend with a truck full of firewood. Are you and your friend still coming, if not we'll be buying it from the campground.
