My new winch

just got my new smittybilt XRC 8000 this weekend. found out i got the new model wich has the 5.5 hp motor instead of the 4.1hp, and it also came with the upgraded 3/8in winch cable.:yelclap: got it mounted on my home built winch cradle. waiting on my quick connects so i can wire it up. and yes i do have the hook since its not in the pic, its just not put on yet, waiting for my winch saver to get here for it too.

yeah my dad got one (the 4.1hp version) and he loves it. from what i here there slower than other winches like it but it fits most peoples budget and it gets the job done. cant wait to get the rest of my stuff so i can try it out

If anyone is interested in making a homebrew winch mount I picked up a triple ball mount from harbor freight that uses a solid stock receiver tube for under $20 with a coupon. I cut the balls off. It was cheaper than buying a blank male receiver tube to weld to.
