Well, I got a local boy in Richfield, UT to do some exhaust work. FM 40 sounds great, new downtube + muffler gives some power, but here is the trouble-
Front driveline, on full flex, hits the new (wider) downtube. Rattles like hell - hit a pothole fast enough and you can sure hear it hitting.
This is rendition #4 of the downtube - i test drove it a few times and kept getting metal on metal when I'd hit the brakes. It is better now but... what have other folks done differently when going to larger size downtubes? Dino was running 3" with no trouble...
